Bumbar+ (in portuguese, work hard) is a social innovation project to implement a fashion studio, which will give advanced sewing training to 10 youngsters. The aim is that after 10 month training, they will have enough clients and have created their own business.

After that period, our vision is for some of these youngster can replicate the model and create other studio to train other youngsters, and so on. Our goal is to increase our reach, replciate the concept and create more and better opportunities.

Our studio remodeling is almost done. We have recruited the youngsters and the trainers, 2 experienced sewers and teachers. We are almost ready to start our journey.

We are in Maianga, Rua João Rodrigues, close to Maxi supermarket.
